About the Colour and its pigmentation:
An all matte set! The colour selection on the eye shadows is small but a good mix of light and dark shades in browns, blacks, silvers and beiges. The colour of the base will suit most people as long as you're putting shadow on top of it, and the lip colours are quite safe, everyday colours. The pigmentation is good for the money.

What is the texture like?
The textures are fine. The eye shadows are a little dryer, meaning they don't always blend quite as easily as more prestige brands. The lip colours are nice and smooth with a lovely smell. The eye shadow base is a little dry too - it doesn't really disappear into the skin.

How long does it last and is it easy to apply?
The eye shadows don't wear as well as more expensive brands. Even with a primer (like Urban Decay Primer Potion, not the one included which I find USELESS) I find they last well for about 6 hours, no more. They are mostly easy to apply although they don't blend as easily as some. The lip colours wear for about 3 hours before they start to fade - this is quite a small kit though so you could keep it in your handbag for touch-ups during the day.

How does the packaging look and how good is its quality?
The packaging looks quite good and clearly says on it what it is. It does scratch quite quickly though and it is quite plastic-y. No problems with opening and closing though.

Is it worth the money?
I'm not sure where you can get so many good quality eye-shadows and lip colours for this price. The pans are large enough to last you a while and get a decent-sized brush in. It even comes with the eye shadow base!

When to use
This is a perfect everyday palette for school, work etc. You can even create smokey-eye looks and shimmery finishes. Handy size for your handbag. A GREAT gift too.
