Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Kiss
|
_ What they say:
Illuminate, radiate, and make your face come alive with the colour and drama of Illamasqua Powder Blusher. Colour-intense and highly pigmented, use it to shade, brighten, enhance and define the shape of your face. Be bold; be daring, be the centre of attention. Kiss is described as a Deep Rose Plum. About the Colour and its pigmentation: This looks quite a deep purple in the pan and I find it difficult to wear. It might be better on black or Asian skins, and maybe even those with olive undertones. The pigmentation is fantastic – you will need a light hand, as there is so much colour in a brush full of this. What is the texture like? The texture is fairly soft so it’s easy to pick up with your brush. Because it’s matt, it glides on flawlessly. How long does it last and is it easy to apply? The large square pan means it’s easy to get a large fluffy brush in there and because it’s so pigmented you don’t need a lot for a stunning application. It’s not the easiest to apply though – you need to be sure where you’re putting it and layer it to get the best effect. I’ve made a bad job of this blusher, and it looks like you’ve just been slapped – not the look we’re generally going for. How does the packaging look and how good is its quality? Illamasqua is down to personal choice – some people love it, some people hate it. It is a shiny, plastic-y compact but I love the shape. My only complaint is that they do take up a lot of room so I’d KILL for pro palettes! Is it worth the money? Yes. In my opinion these are some of the best blushers you can buy; therefore I’d happily pay over £20 for these. And if you can pick them up in sale, you can pay as little £5 which is what I think I paid for this one. When to use I’m going to try this with some darker eyes for a night out and build it heavily on the temples to see I can make it work for me. Tutorials using this product |
