_ What they say:
Revel in the drama of your individuality. Use the creamy Illamasqua Medium Pencil to create sultry eyes and sensuous lips. Designed to glide over skin and create a long-lasting, colour-true finish. Write a different story with every look. Adamant is described as a Gunmetal Grey. About the Colour and its pigmentation: It’s an unusual, dark grey and it is quite pigmented but because it doesn’t apply that smoothly the colour doesn’t look as great as it could. What is the texture like? These are very dry. It unfortunately means the application isn’t as smooth as it could be. They’re not a joy to use. How long does it last and is it easy to apply? They last quite well, probably due to the dryness and good pigmentation, but they drag on the eyelid and I find I have to keep going over the same area again and again to get even coverage. How does the packaging look and how good is its quality? The shiny finish to the pencil looks a bit cheap, and the clear lid doesn’t help. I also don’t like the fact that the end doesn’t show the colour as I like to keep all my pencils upside-down in a holder to be able to find them easily, and I can’t tell the difference between these without pulling them out and taking a close look. Is it worth the money? No – these are very expensive for what they are. I only ever buy them on sale and because they do some unusual colours. When to use This is quite a versatile colour, and great if you have blue eyes and/or find black too dark. |
