_ What they say:
Inglot don’t describe their products or colours. About the Colour and its pigmentation: This is a Deep Pink. It’s from their pearl range so has a lovely sheen to it and it’s incredibly pigmented, as you’ll see from the swatch. What is the texture like? Their pearl shadows are a little less pigmented than their matte – MAC doesn't really do a comparable finish. They just have a lovely polished shine to them. How long does it last and is it easy to apply? These certainly last as long as most MAC shadows, but maybe not quite as well as Make Up For Evers. They’re easy to apply and blend well. One downside – when used wet these don’t seem to make good eyeliners – they just go watery and don’t adhere. How does the packaging look and how good is its quality? I only buy these as part of their Freedom Palette System and those are much better packaged than MAC! They’re in a large, square metal pan which is protected by a solid plastic casing so there’s no chance of damage to the eye shadow within. The individual shadows I’ve seen in store look OK as far packaging, and the quality is good. Is it worth the money? I think these are incredible value at £4.50 for the refill, especially when you consider they are around double the weight of MAC or Make Up For Ever. You do sometimes get more than you paid for! When to use With a light hand this could double as a blusher but looks pretty on the eyes with golds, oranges and yellows. |
